Week 4

In this week, we have practised again for making a mood board. Besides, we finished first mood board which was based on Gothic style.

The first, I chose one girl from the original picture, then I used the rectangular marquee tool to select her after that I pressed Layer from the menu bar and went to the layer mask, as you can see there are several options for selection then I pressed "reveal selection".

From the picture you will see, I already cut the side of the girl from the original one. Then I removed the background and copied the picture to another layer.

The one girl already became a multiple in this picture, I used to duplicate the picture then I made a bit movements for every picture separate from others, after that I used to merge down pictures that mean pictures became in one layer.

This small dot is helped me for made a nice circle of pictures.

This is the picture, that after I finished a making circle of girls.

This picture shows that I changed the picture's colour, used levels or curves menus from the image adjustments.

The last process of making this mood board, from the picture you can see I also wrote typography.

This picture is the just beginning of second mood board, I used previous methods that I showed, for example,a magic wand tool,a quick selection tool or other selection tools for removing the background of pictures.

All these methods very helped me for my skill of using photoshop. I think my knowledge has improved in every lesson, because the teacher has taught us many methods and we have learned and practised a lot of things.

Week 3

Today I have learnt a lot of things for making a process  of a mood board which is basically, design and collaging different types of photographs or pictures and it can be including texts by using your creativity. After the made process, a mood board should be depicts one idea and make people think something about your aspiration.

Now, I'm going to show you that making actions of a mood board that we made in class. In this lesson we have learnt about making a mood board based on idea of Gothic style. 

a texture picture for using a background to my mood board. Then press "command T", "control T" or go to the edit and press free transform which allows you to change your picture's size and location.

if you press "normal" that will help you to change your photo's effect then you also can change brightness or contrast by using opacity and fill.

These two screenshots will show you how one picture became multiple and also it changed by using above processes.

Do Not forget to name your layers when you creating more and more layers. It will help you to recognise your actions.

This is the end of today's mood board, as you can see there is some additional pictures on the photo, all I used by above's process. If you want to cut round shape from picture use elliptical marquee tool that helps you to cut your picture more clear and easier. Besides, if you have something you don't want from your picture use a selection tools( magic wand tool)...then remove it or you can also use eraser tools.

Week 2

What is photoshop?
The photoshop is an imaging editing software. The software allows you to edit pixels in digital photograph.There are many ways to use your photograph looks more creative and professional.

In this week I have learnt about using photoshop’s several tools from tools panel in class.

Firstly, I have learnt “Marquee tools” which is used to draw selections based on geometric shapes. There are 4 different shapes of marquee tools; Rectangular marquee tool, elliptical marquee tool, single row marquee tool and single column marquee tool.

Secondly, Types of Lasso tools:

1.The Lasso tool is useful for drawing freeform segments of selection border.

2.The Polygonal Lasso tool is for drawing straight-edged segments of a selection border.

3.The Magnetic Lasso tool is especially useful for quickly selecting objects with complex edges set against high-contrast backgrounds.

Lastly, Quick selection tool and Magic Wand tool, they are easier than other selection tools, those tools used by automatically find and follow defined edges in the image. Also the magic selection tool is useful for selecting pixels based on tone and color.
