We made a mood board for submission in this week. The mood
board was based on Japanese culture. We needed to create an exact same of
original mood board of that theme. I think it was a very good challenge of
showing what we have learnt about using Photoshop in the class and how much we practice
on it.
1. I needed to open a new page. Then I chose international
paper, as you can see from the picture I changed the width and height.
2. This picture of texture is had to be my background of a
mood board, so I opened a picture then copied it to my previous one. Also, I
changed the size of the texture used "control T or command-T" to fit
on paper.
3. After that, I
added these curves lines of the picture on my background, and I needed more
curves on my background, so I copied the layer of the picture until it became
what I wanted, then I merged down all layers of curves' pictures.
4. I finished to
merge down all layers of curves, you can see from the left side of the picture,
it became on one layer. Besides, I already removed white background of curves,
from normal to multiply look.
5. On this screenshot,
I changed the colour of curves by used opacity on bottom of the left-hand side.
6. Then I added this sea's picture on my mood board before
that, I used quick selection tool for remove background of the sea.
7. I changed the Brightness/Contrast of picture.
8. Japanese traditional gate is needful for my mood board, I
selected by using Rectangular marquee tool, after that I did drag and drop to
my main page of the mood board.
9. Before changed the gate's look to multiply
10. Next, I put this "Keisha" on my mood board. I used
quick selection tool and magic wand tool to became this from the original
picture.
11. From top of the picture you can find that I already put two sticks with red flowers. I used previous making process to became like this.
12. After that, I added these Sakura tree's picture
and leaves picture on my mood board. Took off the backgrounds by using quick
selection and magic wand tools. Then went to the layer mask and clicked Hide
selection.
13.This is my mood board. Moreover, as you can see I wrote
typography in the middle of the picture and changed the colour of it.
